MEH FAVORITE COOKIES: Mix together; 3 Eggs, ½ Cup of Sugar, 2 Sticks of Butter. Add den mix 4 Cups Flour, 3 Tbs. bakin’ powder, 1 Tbs vanilla. Make small balls not bigger dan a quarter an’ place one inch apart on a bakin’ sheet. Bake at 350 degrees for 10 – 15 minutes.
ICIN’; 1 lime, 1 egg white, 3 cups of confectioner’s sugar, 1 bottle of colorful sprinkles. Put egg white in a bowl an’ squeeze lime in de bowl. Turn on de mixer on low an’ beat for a minute. Add confectioner’s sugar an’ increase mixer speed to high. Beat mixture until thick an’ very white, about 5-7 minutes. The icing should hold stiff peak when yuh lift de beater. Add more confectioner’s sugar if yuh need to. Paste de icin’ on de cookies den add sprinkles.
Ann Libario, gave me the recipe for My Favorite Cookies. She was a dear friend. She died years ago. (RIP Ann) Every time I make these cookies, I remember the first time I tasted them. After eating one I knew I had to have another then another. It is just too good to only have two.
