3 cups flour into a bowl. Add 2 teaspoon baking powder, 2 teaspoon turmeric---(Optional) Dissolve 1 tablespoon brown sugar, 1 tsp salt in 2 cups of water. (Add more sugar if you want.)
Make a hole in the middle of the flour. Add half cup of water and mix with one hand. Knead adding water to make a soft dough. If sticky add a little flour. Let it rest for an hour then press down. Cut pieces and roll into the size of gulf balls. Let it rest for 10 minutes. Heat 2 cups of oil in pot. Roll out balls with rolling pin. When it floats up dip oil and throw over bake as it fries. Flip over when under side is brown.
