“A Bitter Pill”

It is a bitter pill to swallow when I see the pain on people’s face as they go through this devastation~ The pill was past bitter when I woke up this morning, turned on the television and the distraught voice of a woman as she said, “Where are our elected officials?” I shouted, “Preparing for the New York Marathon!”
