“I Used To Dress Like This”

I remember on cold winter days, years ago, I used to want to look cute~ It could be ten degrees Fahrenheit and I would be dressed like a summer day~ The only thing to shield me from the elements would be my coat and boots~ This morning, I looked at my children and shook my head. My son was dressed in a tee shirt, pair of jeans, Converse sneakers, coat and hat~ My daughter was dressed in her school uniform, coat, fingerless gloves and Converse sneakers~ After I gave a speech about how cold it is, it’s going to snow and it is going to get colder as the day progressed. My son said, “Mom, I’m fine.” My daughter put on her boots and scarf~I was thinking I used to dress like this… hmm.
