“No-nonsense Demeanor”

My supervisor told me that Mr. Ross wanted to see me immediately. I have been working for him for two years and we never had a conversation. My communication with him was always through his assistant. His no-nonsense demeanor was intimidating. The other members of his staff also talked about him and how unfriendly he was. I stood in his office, looking at him seriously. He was writing in a folder that had my name on it… didn’t look up at me, but told me to have a seat.
