“The Key To The Front Door.”

One day, a young boy got on the bus with a child who was younger than him. Apparently, he was taking him to daycare, and then he was going to school. I believed that he was a latchkey kid. Many of us on the bus looked at them sadly. I remembered when I was 16, my parents had a party for my sister, and they gave her the key to the front door. I was anxiously waiting to be 21 so I could get my key. Today, parents have no other choice, but to give the key to younger children. Some are as young as 5 years
