Tomato chokhaa is nutritious and it is tasty. This is how I make tomato chokhaa.

1 dozen plum tomatoes cut in half and seeds taken out. I usually wash the seed out under the pipe. Put tomato halves, flat side down on a baking sheet. Turn the oven on broil and place baking sheet in the oven for 30 to 35 minutes. Peel 2 heads of garlic and crush. Put 3 tablespoons of oil in a pot, put the pot on low fire and put in the garlic. Cook until golden brown. Take out tomatoes, peel off the skin add I teaspoon salt then crush. Pour into pot with garlic and stir. (add salt to taste) Leave to simmer until the excess liquid dries out. Serve with sada roti, bake, bread, crix… whatever you like.
