I am a mother and my heart hurts for everyone in this situation. No body
wins. A 14 year old is now being charged as an adult for the murder of a
classmate. This took place at Middle School, I.S. 117, Tremont, Bronx, New
York. The accused was being bullied by a group of students. He told his
parents, teachers and others that he was afraid to go to school. They did not
listen to him. He took a knife to school and he stabbed a boy multiple times
killing him. This situation is heartbreaking for everyone involved. It is time
drastic measures are taken to help children who are being victimized — bullied.
Do not wait until the victim retaliates. The end results is never a good one…
