I am tired hearing my children who
were born in America, but claim their Trinidad and Tobago heritage, say that
people would always try to argue where Pan comes from. What pisses them off is
how the person/s who says that pan originates from their country, starts
shouting to drown them out when they disagree.
The first time they had that
situation their father told them that some of these countries don’t have oil
drums or they have never seen one. Then he explained to them the history of
pan.
So to all of you country
folks in this whole wide world, who are trying to claim pan… “Nota Bene, Listen Well and Note Well” Pan
started in The Republic of Trinidad and Tobago. Now Google the names listed below:-
1. Invented the Pan —Winston Spree Simon —Born Rosehill, East
Dry River, Port-Of-Spain, Trinidad.
2. Invented the fourth and fifth Soprano Pan —Anthony Williams —Born General Hospital Port-of-Spain, Trinidad
2. Invented the fourth and fifth Soprano Pan —Anthony Williams —Born General Hospital Port-of-Spain, Trinidad
3. Amplified Pan —Bertie Marshall—Born Port-of-Spain,
Trinidad
I could go on and on but
Google the invention of pan because shouting your claim doesn’t make it true…
