Watch your steps and be aware of your
surroundings. Remember not to walk the streets with your headphones in your
ears. It is not safe. Someone can walk behind you to harm you. You can be on
your guard if you do not have anything blocking your sight and hearing. A woman
was raped last night in the Church Avenue, Flatbush area. Another was hit in
the back of her head a weeks ago. Phones and headphones should not be in use if
you are walking. If you get a call, stand up, position yourself where you can
see around you, talk to whomever then hang up and continue on your journey. It is
better to be safe than sorry.
