If you ask someone how much they want to be paid for a job, and they tell you; ‘they don’t know, any amount you feel like paying, whatever you want to pay’, do not let them do the job. If you let them do the job and you pay what you think their work is worth, they will not be pleased with the payment. They will tell who ever will listen that you short changed them.

If you asked someone to do something for you that cost a price, come to an agreement about the price. Pay them the agreed price for the work done. Do not tell the person; the payment is too much for the work they did, you could have gotten it cheaper etcetera.
