“Listening To The Old Folks”

Her grandmother always gave her great advice so she said, “Grandma, I have a friend that I like a lot and I think he likes me. I went to lunch with him today and I had a great time.”
“Lunch means that he wants friendship.”
“But grandma, we went to lunch five times and he always pays for lunch.”
“It really doesn’t matter how many times he took you. He wants to be your friend… Don’t tell him how you feel. Let’s see if he takes you to dinner.”
“Dinner?”
“If he takes you to dinner… He wants intimacy.”
