On
Sunday you see them or you hear them say I am going to church and you say that
it is a good thing, although you know for the week they sowed seeds of impiety.
Ignoring the way God feel about lying, cheating … dishonesty.
Most
of these people are living in oblivion … just in a stupor… just wicked… sinful humans ignoring
what God wants from them. They believe going to church will make him forgive
their sins. I wish that I could slap them out of oblivion and bring them back
to earth so that they will remember that God hates impiety.
There are
six things that the LORD hates. Yes seven are an abomination to him.”
Haughty eyes.
A lying tongue.
A heart that plots wicked
schemes.
Hands that shed innocent
blood.
Feet that run swiftly to
evil.
The false witness who utters
lies, and
He who sows discord among
brothers.
