You walk by one of them just in time to hear them say
something mean… Cuss. You are surprised and you want to make sure of what you
heard so you ask, “What did you say?”
“I
didn’t say anything,”
“I
heard you say…”
They
interrupt you in a serious tone of voice saying, “If you know what good for you,
you better shut up!
Although
they are starting to get annoyed, you still wanted them to know that you heard
them so you continued… All you are able to say is, “But…”
“You
looking for ah cut tail, oui! I told you, you did not hear a damn thing so you better
go and find something to do before I cut yuh arse!”
You
walk away quickly because you know they are mad as hell.
