Last night was a sleepless night for me and my family because there were loud noises outside. Con Edison was doing some electrical repairs. A backhoe was digging up the road and throwing the boulders into a truck… baddang baddang! A drill was digging… digdigdigdigdigdigdigdig!  Loud human voices echoes in the night. I kept drifting in and out of sleep. Con Ed did not even inform us that they would be doing work all night long. They finally stopped working around 6 o’clock this morning. The only time Con Ed likes you is when you pay your bill.
