They would say it when something good happened to you. There
were some mean-spirited people who used to say it when something bad happened to
you. You may fall, cut yourself, etc., and they would shout out, “Good fuh yuh!”
(Good for you).
If
I say it to you then something good did happened to you and I am wishing you
the best. My
wish for you today is that something that is ‘Good for you’ will happen to you…
