I do not understand how a parent can dislike
their child. This child came from you and is a part of you. The people who do
that don’t like themselves.
You wanted this, but you got that. Your
child got this without a hassle. You get angry with your flesh and blood for
achieving what you wanted yourself so you make them pay.
The most difficult thing to do is to let go
of a parent. They can be very hurtful to you, but you stick around, treating
them kindly, hoping that their attitude would change. My father used to say, “Not
everyone in this life is going to like you and you will not like everyone.” For
your peace of mind, if you have the means to move on… Do it!
