I used to get uptight and embarrassed about the name Alphonsus — A name
used for a boy. Why did my father like his relatives so much to name me after one
of them… hmm. But after years of hiding it I decided that since it is my name I
am going to love it. All those who laugh at it~~ Yeah, it’s a good thing. I
brought some joy to someone~ Nice real nice.
Allison — Is of German and French origin~ Meaning noble, kind.
Alphonsus — Is of Latin origin~ Meaning noble, ready for battle.
Today I love the expressions on people faces when they look at my birth paper
and other documents and see the name Alphonsus. Just hysterical…
