This is a very heartbreaking situation.
Thirteen year old Deandre
Bloomfield is in a Staten Island hospital with serious burns.
All Deandre wanted was a
friend to accept him. He walks with a limp and was constantly teased and
bullied. One of his classmates pretended to be his friend and he invited him
over. The so called friend who is also 13, sprayed cologne on Deandre then lit
a match into the stream. He suffered second and third-degree burns. The so
called friend was arrested.
