I look at my children intently after I asked them if
they did something wrong. They would sometimes watch me and tell me they did not.
I would say, “Really? Okay.” Then I walk away.
In most cases they would say, “Mom I don’t like when
you say ‘really’ and ‘okay’.
“You said that you did not do it so what am I
suppose to say, Alright? Then alright.”
“Mom! You
said ‘alright’ so now I know that you don’t believe me.”
“What am I suppose to say?”
“Anything, but those words.”
“Anything, but those words.”
“You are right. I don’t believe you so why did you
say you didn’t do it.”
“I don’t know how you do it, but you always know
when we did something. LORD mothers are psychic,” my daughter said and my son response
to that was, “I told you that many years ago.”…
