I talk to my daughter daily about people and their attitudes. You can
tell if someone likes you by the way they speak and or interact with you. She had
a situation with a boy who liked her. He asked her to draw a logo for a group
that he was the president of. She did it, everybody liked it, but he did not and
he trashed her in front of the group. She was humiliated.
When she told me about it I said, “He doesn’t like you. If he did, he would
have spoken to you in a well-mannered way, letting you know that he does not
like it. Don’t ever accept that kind of treatment
from anyone.”…
