“Abuse is a sad, sad affair”

I feel abuse is to soft a word for what some people are faced with. It should be called CRUELTY!

The sad thing about this is that the victim often stay after the horrible event. I felt that low self-esteem is the main culprit why they stay, but the more I read about why they do, makes me understand the trepidation they feel. Yes we get angry but I also believe you have to be in it to know it.
