They met at a soirée and the first thing she noticed was how handsome and debonair he was. His voice was soft and he sounded smart. They talked and she enjoyed the time spent with him. When she noticed the wedding band on his finger, she asked politely about his wife, but he said, “That person is not a topic for discussion.”
“I’m so sorry. I did not mean to step out of line.”
“No need to be apologetic.” After he said that, he talked a little bit about her and how badly she treats him. She felt sorry for him and an affair started.
