I remember two people said to me on different occasions, “You think your children are better than other people children.” I felt hurt because when I am around children, I always treat them kind. If I am sharing and serving something, I always share and serve everything equally. But as a mother, aren’t you suppose to think that your children are better? Better at being respectable. Better at being kind. Better at following the law of the land. I stand by all those Better so I guess I do think my children are Better than others.
