When Sarah was very young during our family prayer time, she prayed saying thanks for everything she had. She even said thanks for her pencil and drawing paper. That moment reminded me how much we take for granted. One day last month I fell down and I got up by myself. I did not hurt myself but I cried because Harold and Paul used to always have to pick me up when I fall. As I got up and sat on a chair, I felt so grateful that my arms and legs were able to support each other. My limbs helped me get up off the floor and able to sit on a chair. Do not take anything for granted. Life and everything we have is gift. Thanks be to God for mercy. We are seeing another day. Amen and Amen to that.
