“Inflation”

I remember when I started living in the US, it cost 50 cents to get on the bus in New Jersey. A short drop in a taxi was $1.00. I moved to New York and the cost was 75 cents to get on the bus/train. A short drop in a taxi was $1.50 (Transportation in NY is more expensive than NJ) Today in NY it cost $2.50 to get on the bus and train. Short drop in a taxi $7.00/8.00… Oh drama! Inflation!
