“Coffee Makes Children Dunce”

The old folks used to say, ‘Do not give a child coffee to drink. It will make his/her head hard~ In other words he/she will become dunce’. My father did not listen because he gave me coffee when I was real young. I had it with Golden Ray Butter and brown sugar, for the cold~ It tasted terrible. Anyway about coffee making children dunce~ I am happy to say I did not suffer from dunceitis~ is dunceitis a word… hmm~ I guess the old folks saying, coffee makes children dunce is just a myth…
