People hurt people, but thanks be to God there are still good people in the world. If you are treated with kindness thank your lucky stars.

Life for a woman can be joyful, painful, stressful just heartbreaking. At times tears flow. When a woman is crying, she cannot say why she is but, in her heart, she knows why. In that moment of solitude, she may cry tears of joy or tears of hurt. There are many sadistic, brutal and cruel men walking the earth. These men brutalize women and that is their joy. I sentence all of them to labor pains. Amen.

This morning I saw on the news that a chemical used in cockroach insecticide is in La Croix sparkling water. This chemical can cause kidney toxicity and tumors. There is also another chemical in it that is used to treat cancer. The moment we heard the news Harold was in the kitchen opening cans of La Croix sparkling water. and throwing it down the sink.  A customer filed a lawsuit against LaCroix’s.

The man is making America great again. Black Americans as full-blown slaves and women are going to be treated like second class citizen. This is the fuddy-duddy old white men’s dream, of making America great again.

Stop fighting and arguing about skin color, who is better than who and know your history. Also, those black people who sometimes trash people from the Caribbean, you don’t know if we are related.

My mother’s great grandfather fought in the war of 1812. He was an African Slave who fought for the British against the USA. Her ancestors are the Huggins, Galloway and many others. In 1816 the Veteran Marines were brought to Trinidad. The 5^th and 6^th Company settled in separate villages. Some of the villages were named after the companies. The Fifth and Sixth Company villages still retains those names. My mother’s parents lived in Tableland, but I used to hear about relatives in 5^th Company, 6^th Company and Moruga. I did not know how strong my African roots were until my cousin Wayne, told me some of it. It feels really good to know my heritage.

It is embedded in some men. They are following the legacy of their ancestors. There is a particular race of men who love to group sex. All these men would take turns on a woman, raping her. Some of them would laugh as they enjoy the moment. These men feel comfortable for their body to be touching the deposits from their friends’ body. Nasty arrogant hell-bent men, who know that they cannot please a woman sexually without help. Mercy for women who get caught in it.

Surely his salvation is near those who fear him, that his glory may dwell in our land. Love and faithfulness meet together; righteousness and peace kiss each other. Faithfulness springs forth from the earth, and justice looks down from heaven. The Lord will indeed give what is good, and our land will yield its harvest. Ps. 85:9-12.

On a personal note. Cherish the people in your life. 2018 is turning out to be a remarkable year of letting us know that life is short, embrace it with love and kindness. Most of us meet someone male and or female in life who turns out to be a friend. The friendship sometimes elevates to them becoming your brother or your sister. The both of you are just helpful and kind to each other on your journey through life. Harold’s friend Ali, turned out to be that kind of friend. Yesterday was one of my weirdest days. I got up at 4:30am, went to the bathroom to shower. While in the bathroom around 5am, I heard a sound as though something fell in the living room. I waited and listened, but heard nothing. I took up my cell phone, called Harold’s phone twice but he did not answer. I felt strange so I used the house phone. (Yes, I have a house phone in the bathroom. After 9/11 I needed it.) Harold answered the phone and when I asked about the noise I heard, he said he did not hear anything. We agreed that the sound came from the building next to our building. Around six thirty, Harold left home and about twenty minutes after he left, something fell in the living room. I jumped and I called out to Harold because I thought he was still at home, no answer from him so I got up and checked. The television control was on the floor. My heart started racing. I prayed, “Lord what is this?” Feeling really creeped out I phoned Harold and told him. He said he can’t understand that, he left the control on the couch. An hour later he came home and then his brother called him about 10am and told him Ali died between 5 and 6:30am. Ali was a true friend he was family. I pray that his journey home is safe and trouble free. RIP Ali.
