My black brothers and sisters, I know many of us are struggling, but if you do not have the money to buy a metro card to ride the train or bus, please do not jump the turnstile. Ask someone to give you a swipe of their metro card. Many people might say no but be patient someone will give you that swipe to get on the train or bus. When we black people get on the bus without paying the bus driver sometimes let us ride. On one or two occasions I see the bus driver put people off the bus. When black people jump the turnstile to get on the train, most of us get arrested. I have seen white people jump the turnstile and no one say anything to them. I have also seen them get stopped by a police officer. The police officer calmly talks to them then they and allowed to get on the train. When black people jump the turnstile, in most cases they are stopped by a police officer. Six or more police officers suddenly appears. They surround the perpetrator, manhandle him or her then handcuffed them and take them out of the subway.
