Sarah said, “Mom I really don’t understand you. You always say that I am afraid of germs, but when you sanitize your hands, you always use a lot then you take a piece of bounty and wipe off your hands or you wash your hands. The sanitizer kills germs, you know?

Me: “I know it does but I don’t want dead germs drying on my hands and staying there. If I touch something to eat it will get on it.”

Sarah said, “You see where I get my fear of germs?”

Me: “I am not afraid of germs. They are just nasty and nastiness could make you very sick.”
