Men and woman without empathy. It breaks my heart to see a
child cry. I know how it feels to ask an adult to take you home, to that
familiar place you know and they ignore you. I know how it feels to be homesick
and everyone just chuckle, and say that you are not going anywhere, you have to
stay. I know how heartbreaking it is at nightfall when your hearts hurt because
you long to see your mother, father, caregiver.
I believe the measure you give is the measure you are going
to receive. As the old Trinbago folks used to say, “Today for you, tomorrow for
me.” The good or evil you do will come back to you, tenfold.”
