Yesterday was my son Paul’s 27^th birthday. It was a wonderful day. He wanted Mexican food so we ordered, stayed in and sang Happy Birthday, listen to 80’s music, eat and talked. A lot of hysterical moments. I would love to post a picture of him but he doesn’t like FB although he has a FB page. He doesn’t post or even go on it so when he gives me the ok I will post a picture. One thing, yes Paul is 27 but to me he looks like a 20-year-old. I can’t say that to him.

Mothers and Fathers and care-givers of Trinidad and Tobago, if you have children in school, you need to watch this video. It is very disturbing to hear, but you need to be aware of what is going on in schools across Trinbago.

A few weeks ago, someone whatsapp me a video of children in a class room in Trinbago. There was one boy in a boxer shorts looking a bit scared. The leader of the group said, “Go and Fuck him now!” The video ended and my skin crawled. I hoped nothing happened to that young man was not hurt, but yesterday I saw a video where a man was talking about a classroom situation where a young man was sodomized. All I have to say is “Dear God have mercy.”

I used to like to watch Benson. He was hilarious.

When you are violated you feel afraid, humiliated and you also feel that no one will believe you. If you have been violated, you need to tell someone. Let the culprit/s know that you are not protecting them. Transfer the shame back to him or her. Talk about it.

Tarana Burke, started ‘Me Too”. She started this movement for women who were sexually harassed or assaulted. Now others jumped on the ban-wagon acting as though they started it.

It is not a good thing if you have been violated and you accept payment for the violation with stipulations that you cannot talk about what the person did to you. I believe if you are silent the money means more to, but you don’t realize that you are giving the perpetrator permission to do what he or she did to you, to others.  

Harvey Weinstein paid off some of his victims and they kept quiet so he kept doing the same horrible thing over and over to others. 

Some people are just egotistical and some are just greedy. Whatever the reason they are just selfish and selfishness runs very deep. After the hurricanes devastated neighboring countries around Trinidad and Tobago, Trinbagonians were asked to help others. Take someone to live in their home. I know some people cannot live with anyone in their home, but there are some people who can and could help. Even those who were able to help refused to help.

The measure you give is the measure you receive. Look at what is happening in Trinbago today. Floods. Water destruction all over the Island.

Selfishness comes from friends, strangers even relatives. I remember when 9/11 happened, my family and I were scared. We did not know what was going to happen next, but we made a plan that whatever happened we were going to stick together. One day I called Trinidad and spoked to a relative. He said to me, he saw what happened to the World Trade Center etc, but if I am planning to come home make sure I have money. Don’t come home without money.

Like I said selfishness runs very deep. The measure you give is the measure you will receive.

He is a white rich man who sexually violated more than 12 women. America and England are both investigating Harvey Weinstein. Weinstein puts a spin on his sexual violation problems. He said that everybody makes mistakes and he is going to therapy. A situation might be a mistake when it is done on one occasion. A mistake is never repeated. He did it more than 12 times so it is a habit. He is white and rich so let’s see how the law enforcers handles this matter.

A bully is never alone. He or she always have three or four patsies. These patsies are also being bullied. They do everything the bully tells them to do and the bully controls everyone.

One day, some years ago, I was bringing Sarah home from elementary school. A boy was in front of us, walking in the distance. Suddenly some boys passed us running, when they got to the boy, one of them from the group pushed the victim and he took off his backpack, then he punched the boy who pushed him. The boy grabbed him and held him tightly. The other boys started punching and kicking the victim.

Sarah said, “Mom I am scared. Let’s cross the street.”

I told her no I will handle it. When we got to the boys, I said, “Let him go! Stop hitting him, right now!”

They all did and looked angrily at me, but I said, “You are holding him and the three of you are hitting him. That is not right. Four of you against him. You pushed him and he defended himself so what did he do to the others? Not a damn thing, yet you are beating him up. What is wrong with you all?” I turned to the bully and continued, “You started it so I am guessing that you want to fight so fight him one-on-one. The rest of you stay out of it!”

The victim said, “Ok let’s fight.”

The bully stood looking a bit scared for a moment then he quickly took up his backpack, turned and started walking quickly back to where he came from. The lackeys also took up their bags and followed the bully.

The victim continued on his way home.”

I told Sarah the same thing I told Paul years ago. I said, “You might end up in a situation where you might be bullied. More than one person might be attacking you. You can’t over power all of them so you must focus on the one you can get your hands on. Hold that one and drop a bite on him or her. The one you are biting will cry out from the pain, but don’t let him go until the others stop attacking you. They would put their focus on their friend.”

“But I will get in trouble,” Sarah said.

“There are cases where you have to defend yourself and that might be the only way you could.”

I got some disturbing video with school children in Trinbago. One with a boy in his boxer shorts, apparently, he was or was going to be raped by the other boys. Another slapping and punching other boys then taking their money etc. What is wrong with these children. Who are the parents of these children? I have a son, brothers, nephews even friends and none of them did anything like that.

I know if that was my children one of those boys would have ended up in the hospital. One of them would have been bitten.  

Become slower in your journey through life. Practice yoga and meditation if you suffer from 'hurry sickness.' I wish people would stop posting the video of the woman who is dressed only in a panty, outside beating her daughter with a cutlass. Every sound of the blows and the child crying out hurt. I don’t care what this child did she was not supposed to be mistreated and embarrassed.

If this woman was my mother, I would disown her, say that she is a crazy woman who lives in my home. All our relatives and friends knows that she is mad but they did not realize that she needs to be committed.

You are adding to the young lady’s embarrassment! Stop posting the video!

Update on Las Vegas shooting. 58 dead and 500 plus injured. Guns, Guns, GUNS! Sad. Scary.

Stephen Paddock did the shooting but the media only showing pictures of his girlfriend.

50 people were killed and more than 200 injured in mass shooting in Las Vegas. They were shot by Stephen Paddock. It is a sad situation. Many people are critically injured. Thank God a black man did not do this. Two people were murdered, OJ was found not guilty but still they are crucifying OJ. Let’s see how long this mass killing will be talked about.

I have been hearing this from non-black people so I really don’t expect some of those people to ever say anything nice about us. Now that I start hearing black people saying it and posting it I am mad as hell. I want black people to think hard about the other race and how they hate us. Do you think that they would allow a transgender woman to be their first lady also a black transgender person? I believe if Michelle Obama was transgender they would have kicked up a big stink about it. They would never have allowed her to be the First Lady of the Unites States of America.

Black people must stop joining the crowd of people who like to degrade our people. 

I am tired of hearing that Michelle Obama was a man. If she was a man she trans into a damn nice woman. If I was into women she is the kind of woman I would enjoy my life with.
