Two different scenarios; A woman gets beaten by a man in front of people and someone will try to help to defuse the situation. A man gets beaten by a woman in front of people and there will be laughter. No one is going to help to defuse the situation.

I saw a video of a woman in Rousillace, Trinidad and Tobago beating a man on the street in front of people. She was brutal. The man lay on the ground taking the blows, not even trying to defend himself. I believe that this is not the first time she did this to him. Eventually a man came and pulled her away. The man who was beaten was on the ground looking unconscious.

While the woman was beating the man, she was asking him, who is Sharon. Regardless of who Sharon is, the woman is an abusive woman and this man needs to get far away from her. 

Trinbagonians you know this statement, “Yuh like to call mih name in yuh mouth too much, ah go buss yuh tail!” … And on that note, “Enjoy your day and be safe.”

One thing I don’t understand and I don’t think I will ever understand is how you can do the thing that hurt you to another person. You know how you felt when you were hurt so why do you inflict that pain on another person?

Talk to your child/children about being daring. The dare might work for some but for others it can be death. This is what I said to my children to make them think twice from doing a dare. I said, “Friends will ask you to do crazy shit like, run across the street in traffic, jump from building to building, eat something unhealthy etc. Doing it is a chance on your life and you might come out a winner, but there is the chance you will end up dead. If that happens your father and I would be devastated. We would be crying nonstop. If you don’t mind making us cry then you can go ahead and do the dare, that will let us know how much you love us.” They don’t do dares and I thank God for that…

I am always floored at the person who does something wrong to you then they act as though they are the victim.

Many people sensationalize the wrong things on FB. We all must think about the importance of life. Having empathy is one of life’s gifts. It teaches the measure you give is the measure you receive.

Every time I see a missing person on one of my friend’s wall, I ask about the person and if they are still missing I post on my wall.

In most cases the picture gets less than 5 share. People need to be more caring and share the pictures you never know what a great help you post might be.

This is what God said to Moses about the penalty for murder.

Numbers 35:16-21. Trinidad and Tobago is going back to the death penalty. I agree only if the person who did the murder is caught and not an innocent person. The hangman’s noose will be the penalty for the murderer.

I feel men should not bad talk a woman. Yes, she might have treated you badly, but you should not partake in trashing her to Tom, Dick and Harry. It belittles you making you less of a man. The friends you talk to will want to know what you did to  retaliate against the maltreatment. If you did not do anything they will start degrading, you. Calling you a little boy, soft man, piece ah man, etc.

Men should walk away leaving the horrible person behind. Ride out the hurt by talking to an elderly person you don’t know personally. It helps. And remember Life is not going to leave you unloved. Someone will come along bringing joy to your heart.

When you meet a man or a woman, pay attention to the kind of conversation they love to partake in and the things they like to do, before you get involved. If an uncomfortable feeling comes over you, end it before it gets serious.

The white on the trees, houses ground etc., looks pristine and beautiful. I wish it would stay like that but days later I hate how nasty it looks…

Smart TV

I have been complaining for months about my televisions. Every time you lower the volume it becomes loud after a few minutes. Sometimes I turn it off and a red light on it blinks as though it is recording. Just freaking creepy.
