“A Bitter Pill To Swallow”

Care about does not mean they love you~

Someone recently said to me, “I care about you.”

During the conversation they repeated that sentence about five times. They accentuated the point with, “I want you to remember that! Don’t ever forget that!”

It hurt because for more than fifty years, I thought they loved me~ Damn!!! Oh what a bitter pill to swallow!
