As the old Trinbago folks used to say, “The devil is at hand.” Daily we are faced with the brute beast who is trying to eliminate us, but God is in charge so I pray. Direct my footsteps according to your promise; and let no inequity rule over me. Amen. Psalm. 119:133. Our father, who art in heaven, hallowed be Thy name; Thy kingdom come, Thy WILL be done on earth as it is in Heaven. Give me this day my daily bread; and forgive me my trespasses as I forgive those who trespass against me; save me from falling into temptation and deliver me from evil. Amen. Mat. 6:9-13.

When the Covid19 virus became prevalent around the world many people blamed China and they treated Chinese people very badly. I felt bad for them for a while, but then I remembered black people’s plight. When shit happening to black people, no body helps us, so let them take their shit. Black people are hated by every race and we are left to handle our stories. Truth have a way of prevailing right in front of your eyes. Look at the Chinese police man as he stood unbothered, near to the brute beast who was kneeling on George Floyd’s neck, as he murdered him.

Black and brown people we are to forgetful but even God said not to forget. Don’t forget what Amalek did to you on the road after you left Egypt, how he attacked you when you were tired, barely able to put one foot in front of another, mercilessly cut off your stragglers, and had no regard for God. When GOD, your God, gives you rest from all the enemies that surround you in the inheritance- land GOD, your God, is giving you to possess, you are to wipe the name of Amalek from off the Earth. Don’t forget! Deuteronomy 25:18-19.
When I was a child even in my teens most of the old folks used to tell us to forgive and forget the wrong people did to us, but my father used to tell me don’t forget. I used to think that it was wrong not to forget so I used to forgive and forget until a person who hurt me repeated their actions. So, when a person do me wrong, I forgive them for my peace of mind but I do not forget what they did to me.

A white brute beast said that the black man was resisting arrest, but the black man was not moving. He was on the ground; a white brute beast had a knee on the black man’s neck pressing him to the ground. The black man was still motionless but was saying that he couldn’t breathe. This did not stop the brute beast from sinking his knee deeper into the man’s neck. The man passed out and then he died. We black people know that the brute beast is going to get a pat on his back. That brute beast’s knee took a black man’s life so that knee will never be the same again.

Harold and I lived together for 5 years before we got married and we did everything together and we were happy. I used to think that we were married because we liked each other and we were always in agreement. After we got married our life continued along the same path. Today is our 24th Anniversary. Thanks be to God we like each other.

When Dolly Parton sings this verse in her song Hello God; ‘We fight and kill each other, In Your name defending You, Do You love some more than others? We're so lost and confused’. Reminds me of the saddest bus rides I ever had in my life. One day more than 15 years ago I was on a B44 bus heading home from church. A man was speaking loudly and everyone else was quiet. He was saying that he doesn’t understand why black and brown people go to church praising God. He doesn’t love us. Paul and Sarah were with me and they became a little agitated but I told them to listen we will talk when we get home. This man went on talking about going to prison for a crime he did not do and about the innocent brothers in prison? He said not everyone is innocent. Some are, but there is no justice for black and brown people? He also said that he cannot go anywhere without being afraid the police will stop him. Even on this bus he knows that he is being judged. He is alone, homeless, jobless and hated because he is black. I felt he was a lost soul. I got off the bus with tears in my eyes.

A wonderful, safe and germ-free day to you and your family. I pray, Dear God, Ps. 60:11. “Give us help from trouble: for vain is the help of man. Amen 2 Peter 2:12. But these, as natural brute beasts, made to be taken and destroyed, speak evil of the things that they understand not; and shall utterly perish in their own corruption; Amen

These words say it all. We have to apologize to God and change our ways. Hello God Dolly Parton I have questioned Your existence, My resistance leaves me cold, Can you help me go the distance? Hello God? Hello? Hello? This old world has gone to pieces, Can we fix it? Is there time? Hate and violence just increases, We're so selfish, cruel, and blind, We fight and kill each other, In Your name defending You, Do You love some more than others? We're so lost and confused. Hello, God? Are you out there? Can you hear us? Are you listenin' anymore? Hello, God? If we're still on speakin' terms, Can You help us like before? Oh, the free will You have given, We have made a mockery of This is no way to be livin' We're in great need of Your love. Hello, God? Hello, God? Can You grant us, Love enough to make amends? (Hello, God) Is there still a chance, That we could start again? Hello, God? We've learned our lesson, Dear God, don't let us go. (Hello, hello) More than ever, Hello God?, Hello? Hello? Hello, God? We really need You, We can't make it without You (Hello, God) We beseech You, In the name of all that's true. Hello, God? Please forgive us, For we know not what we do. Hello, God? Give us one more chance, To prove ourselves to You Hello, God? Hello, God?
African people and Hispanic people you know you are the last people to get any kind of help so stay in your lane. Those in charge will manhandle you and you will end up battered, bruised and belittled. Your brute beast will be given a pat on the back by the person in charge. Yes, the weather is nice and you want to be out in it make sure you follow the rules.

On a personal note. When I pray, it’s my moment with just me and my God. The Our Father prayer is my every moment prayer and this is the way I say it. If I am praying for someone, I put their name in place of me. Mat. 6:9-13. Amen.

We put a lot of emphasis on ‘love’ but I know ‘like’ is the stronger feeling. Being at home because of Covid 19, made me realize that loving someone doesn’t mean that you like the person. Many people are under pressure. They are seeing the true behavior of the people that they are housed with. Harold, Paul, Sarah and I have been at home for 62 days and yes, we had disagreements but the only ones that got us real uptight were about politics and when the snacks each one of us like finished. To be inside for 62 days, not going out or being able to socialize yet living agreeable means that we like each other. Thanks be to God.

Have a nice, safe and hygienic day. Remember if you help someone stop talking about it. Do not block your blessing. “Give, and it will be given to you. A good measure, pressed down, shaken together and running over, will be poured into your lap. For with the measure you use, it will be measured to you.” Luke 6:38.

Hebrews 7:1-3. For this Melchisedec, king of Salem, priest of the most high God, who met Abraham returning from the slaughter of the kings, and blessed him; To whom also Abraham gave a tenth part of all; first being by interpretation King of righteousness, and after that also King of Salem, which is, King of peace; Without father, without mother, without descent, having neither beginning of days, nor end of life; but made like unto the Son of God; abideth a priest continually.
Black people, we are prayer warriors. Pray like you never did before. Pray without ceasing. Ps. 110. The LORD said to my LORD, “Sit at my right hand till I make your enemies your footstool.” The scepter of your power the LORD will stretch forth from Sion. Rule in the midst of your enemies. Yours is princely power, in the day of your birth, in holy splendor: before the day star like the dew, I have begotten you.” The LORD has sworn and he will not repent. You are a priest forever, according to the order of Melchisedec. The Lord is at your right hand; he will crush kings on the day of his wrath. He will judge the nations, heaping up the dead and crushing the rulers of the whole earth. He will drink from a brook along the way, and so he will lift his head high. Amen.

Ahmaud Arbery was jogging in Brunswick, Georgia when 2 men murdered him. These men are fortunate because they are white and well connected. This young man was murdered 2 months ago and we are now hearing about it. Who stands with black people? We have been crying for 100s of years and our tears are still flowing. When will we be given freedom to live? They murder black people but they are always vindicated.

I always knew that Black people are the ones who are not going to be helped. I know God and his word is bound. But there is nothing covered up that will not be revealed, and hidden that will not be known. Accordingly, whatever you have said in the dark will be heard in the light, and what you have whispered in the inner rooms will be proclaimed upon the housetops. Luke 12:2-3.

Ps. 60:1-5; 10-12. O God, thou hast cast us off, thou hast scattered us, thou hast been displeased; O turn thyself to us again. Thou hast made the earth to tremble; thou hast broken it: heal the breaches thereof; for it shaketh. Thou hast shewed thy people hard things: thou hast made us to drink the wine of astonishment. Thou hast given a banner to them that fear thee, that it may be displayed because of the truth. That thy beloved may be delivered; save with thy right hand, and hear me. Wilt not thou, O God, which hadst cast us off? and thou, O God, which didst not go out with our armies? Give us help from trouble: for vain is the help of man. Through God we shall do valiantly: for he it is that shall tread down our enemies. Amen.

I believe children are taught by experiences. They pattern their lives by the practices of their caregiver/s. Some people truly believe that they have the rights to another person’s body. They believe that they can abuse or touch a person when they feel like it. One day a little boy hit me on my butt. When I turned and looked at him, he had a smile on his face as though he did something good. I said, “Don’t you ever do that again!” His mother said to me, “He does that to me all the time.” “I said, “You need to stop him from doing that. He will do it one day to someone and that person will call the police.” I turned to the little boy and I said, “The police will lock you up if you do that again.” He started to cry and his mother was quiet but she looked annoyed with me. I walked away and whispered, “Deal with the little pervert you are creating.” The latest person blamed for touching in-appropriately is Joe Biden. True or false he is tarnished. What is new about men touching women in-appropriately? The man running this country was accused of in-appropriate conduct by more than 10 women.
