Happy Wednesday to you and your family. Enjoy and be safe. Remember you cannot defend a lie. Do not get upset when someone tell lies about you. The ball will be in their court because somebody is going to believe the lie. All you need to do is ignore them and move on to the next chapter. Be happy that you are important to somebody. Good or bad you have a place in someone’s head. As my father used to say, “It is not the end of the world. Life goes on.”

Another day is given to us. Amen and Amen to that. Enjoy your day and be safe. Humans were blessed with a gift. Our gift is that thing we love doing. It is embedded in our soul, yet some of us strive to take away another person’s gift. They cannot do it, they don’t like it, but by any means necessary they try to accomplish it. And I say, “Jealously is ah hell of ah thing!”

Thanks be to God we are seeing another day. I pray for Venezuela and the Neighboring Islands especially Trinidad and Tobago.  I grew up in Point Fortin and on a clear day you could see some of the mountains in Venezuela. As the old Trinbago folks would say Trinidad and Tobago and Venezuela are just a stone throw away from each other.” The suffering that is happening to Venezuela can reach to Trinbago. Dear God I cannot fix it but you can so I leave it all to you. Amen.

A wonderful safe Saturday to you and your family. Matthew 24:35 and Luke 21:33. Heaven and earth will pass away, but My words will by no means pass away.”
Man made the world hungry and he is destroying lives daily. His tongue is loose. The bible says it all; Proverbs 18:2. The fool takes no delight in understanding, but rather in displaying what he thinks. Amen.
Psalm. 52. Why boastest thou thyself in mischief, O mighty man? the goodness of God endureth continually. The tongue deviseth mischiefs; like a sharp razor, working deceitfully. Thou lovest evil more than good; and lying rather than to speak righteousness. Thou lovest all devouring words, O thou deceitful tongue. God shall likewise destroy thee forever, he shall take thee away, and pluck thee out of thy dwelling place, and root thee out of the land of the living. The righteous also shall see, and fear, and shall laugh at him: Lo, this is the man that made not God his strength; but trusted in the abundance of his riches, and strengthened himself in his wickedness. But I am like a green olive tree in the house of God: I trust in the mercy of God for ever and ever. I will praise thee forever, because thou hast done it: and I will wait on thy name; for it is good before thy saints. Amen.

America at its best. Do you remember 16-year-old Kalief Browder? (Born May 25, 1993- Died June 6, 2015. The City of New York is going to pay his family 3.3M for wrongfully incarcerating him. The pittance for this young precious young man who left us is still awaiting the signature of a judge.
At 16, Kalief Browder, was arrested for allegedly stealing a backpack. He was in prison at Rikers Island for 3 years awaiting trial. (Why? He is black and the law is different for N). If he had pleaded guilty for stealing the backpack, he would have been released. He refused, always saying that he did not take the backpack. He was viciously abused by prison guards and prisoners. He tried to commit suicide, and he spent more than 400 days in solitary confinement. In 2013 his case was dismissed. On Saturday Kalief killed himself.

I don’t know this child but my heart breaks for him and his family. My LORD and my God, have mercy on Kalief’s soul. I pray that his journey home is safe and trouble free…

Happy Thursday to you and your family. Enjoy and be safe. I have to talk about colorism. Since the 1700s colorism was started. We trash each other instead of embracing each other and this is something that has been embedded in us since slavery. In 1712 Willie Lynch, a British slave owner in the West Indies, was invited to Virginia to teach his methods to other slave owners, on how to turn color and shades of African people against each other. Colorism is passed down from generation to generation. A generational curse. I grew up in a house of different shades of black and this was due to our African, Irish and English etc. ancestors. Our African heritage is the one that we embrace because that is where the love and kindness came from. I have been insulted because of my European heritage. When Paul and Sarah were children a man with a Jamaican accent said that he hates when black women go with white men. Look at your children. I said sir, “You don’t know me, do not say anything to me.” He went on criticizing me until the store owner told him to stop being disrespectful. While he was talking, Paul and Sarah were whispering to each other, saying that their father is not white and the man was stupid. I told them, “To never make excuses for who they are. Our ancestors came from Africa, England and Ireland and we are not going to ignore that fact.” I never had a problem in Trinbago, but ccolorism is more prevalent in the US. When I had Paul, I was asked if Harold was white. I said no but I saw doubt on the faces and I felt a bit hurt but I ignored it. Seven years later when I had Sarah, a woman looked at her and angrily said, “She is white!” I said, “I am a black woman standing in front of you, with my baby and you are talking shit. Ignorance is bliss to a fool.” It doesn’t matter what color you are, it is embedded in us that we are better that somebody or somebody is better that us. It doesn’t matter what shade of black you are; Someone is going to love you or someone is going to hate you. All I know is that blood flows through us all. We are supposed to be intelligent yet we act oblivious to the fact that words and actions hurt. Black people stop insulting each other. It hurts when it comes from other races, but more hurtful when we do it to each other. Do your DNA you would be surprise by the people who make up your lineage.

Humanity is fading away. I wonder what God is saying about the wall. Is it the wall of Jericho?

I have seen this trait in the women of Point Fortin, Trinidad and Tobago. Every weekend you could see them heading to the grocery, market, church, tea party, or a get-together etc. Elegance, Stylishness, Grace, Sophistication, Class, Panache, Chic, Refinement, Loveliness, Polish, Beauty, Cleverness, Flamboyance, Panache, Fashionable, Well-dressed, Attractive, Flashiness, Trendy and Striking; It is embedded in our soul. It is a natural thing for a black woman. As much as they hate us, they want to be us. Enjoy your day and be safe.

I saw BlacKkKlansman. It was a true story and it was good. I loved it. But bullshit is still happening in American. Get Out was my other favorite movie.

Martin Luther King Jr. Born: January 15, 1929, Atlanta. Would have been 90 years.
Assassinated: April 4, 1968, Memphis.
I sometimes wonder if the people who criticize others, looked at themselves in a mirror first then sit down and think about the kind of character that is imbedded in them. In their arrogant tone, I think that they see themselves as perfect, faultless, flawless, picture-perfect, and I can go on and on about this kind of ignorance.
Nothing in all the world is more dangerous than sincere ignorance and conscientious stupidity. Martin Luther King, Jr. ---(1929-1968)

‘Once a man twice a child’, is a true statement. Old people are something else to live with and to take care of. They listen to no one. Prince Phillip is 97 years and I know there are people to chauffeur him around but he was driving, and he got into an accident. That did not stop him. He was driving again and I must say he was looking good in the picture, but he was not wearing a seat belt. Old people don’t listen to anyone. Not even the queen.

Happy Monday to you and your family. Enjoy your day and be safe. It is bitterly cold in the Tri-State-Area. 9 degrees Fahrenheit so make sure you bundle up. Remember what belongs to your neighbor doesn’t belong to you! Stop wanting and craving your neighbor’s attributes and belongings.

Did you know that there are a bunch of serial killers of young men called THE SMILEY FACE KILLERS? The smiley face killers are one of the scariest situations in America that always had me on my Ps and Qs. The regular news doesn’t tell you a lot about them but if you have a son be vigilant. These killers have been murdering young men All over America since 1997. https://www.foxnews.com/entertainment/retired-detective-explore-smiley-face-killers-gang-in-new-doc-despite-facing-criticism

A wonderful safe Sunday to you and your family. One day I was telling my father that I find someone was nice and that they are very pretty. He said, “Listen to them talk, then yuh go tell meh ah different story. Looks are deceiving.” My father was right.  Remember to be careful who you bring into your circle. Not everybody you meet wants to talk, laugh, sing or dance with you.

Saturday, January 19, 2019

Happy Saturday to you and your family. Enjoy your day and be safe. Stop idolizing your priest, pastor, preacher or minister. They are humans. The only sinful beings in the world. Stop giving these people a free pass to mistreat your children. Remember there is no sorry in hell only worry. No one is going to listen to how sorry you are about your sinfulness. You will be worrying about your moment with the devil.

Graham crackers were originally invented in the early 1800s by a Presbyterian minister by the name of Sylvester Graham, He hoped to end what he believed to be the curse of his time; masturbation. http://nowiknow.com/the-curious-history-of-graham-crackers-and-corn-flakes/

Did you know that Cornflakes was invented to stop people from masturbating? “A Michigan physician named John Harvey Kellogg. The good doctor was a bit uncomfortable about sex, thinking it detrimental to physical, emotional, and spiritual well-being.

I do not see ugliness by looking at a person. I see their ugliness by what the person say and does. There are many men in big positions who are just ugly. When I hear their voice, I feel disgust. I wonder how their children feel about them? I am so glad none of them is my father. If they were, I would be singing; "Mama! Look ah boo boo!” And my mother would say, “Shut up yuh mout'! Dat is yuh daddy!" I would say, “Oh, no! My daddy can't be ugly so! Shut yuh mout'! Go away! Mama, look ah boo boo dey!  Shut yuh mout’! Go away! Mamma look ah boo boo dey!”

A wonderful safe day to you and your family. 62:10-12. Trust not in oppression, and become not vain in robbery: If riches increase, set not your heart upon them. God had spoken once; twice have I heard this; that power belongeth unto God. Also unto thee, O LORD, belongeth mercy; for thou renderest to every man according to his work. Amen.

When I hear an abuser say that they were abused as a child, so that is the reason for them being abusive. I say if you were abused you know how unhappy you felt so why do you feel okay to inflict the same kind of treatment on someone? Most of these crimes are done by people with money. I don’t know anyone who is sadistic, aggressive, brutal, cruel, vicious or merciless, but I probably do. They walk among us. There are hoodwinkers among us and the victims suffer in silence. When a victim stays silent their abuser is being protected. Abuse has been happening since time beyond our memory. These people are not of God. Lamentations 5:7. Our fathers have sinned, and are not; and we have borne their iniquities. 2Corinthians 5:17 Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new.

There are moments in life when you are no longer the parent, you become the child. I haven’t eaten pizza or drank a beer for more than a year, but today I felt like eating pepperoni and Italian sausage pizza and a beer to wash it down. While Paul was ordering the pizza, I was talking to Harold on the phone asking him to bring beers, Sarah shouted, “Mom you can have pizza and you will drink water with lemon, that is better for you. Water is healthier. Dad do not buy any beers.” I just laughed, because she was right. So, I had a slice of pizza and a glass of water. I am feeling good and life goes on. A Happy Saturday to you and your family. Enjoy and be safe.

Women have to stop embarrassing women. This world is in too much of suffering for little things to make the news. I was freaking upset to see a video of a woman peeing in another woman’s yard. Although they blurred the woman, I think this is something that shouldn’t be on the news. I remember one day I was out shopping and I felt like going but I thought I could make it home. Before I entered the building, a neighbor stopped me and we talked for a moment. After speaking to her I entered the building keys in hand and I ran up the steps to the 4th floor. When I got to the door, I opened the door and as I stepped in a river. Which woman don’t get a moment of wanting to pee so bad that it trickles down? I felt good I got home but I sympathize with those who don’t make it home or to a bathroom.

This situation, really have me upset and who vex delete me. R. Kelly’s lawyer was on the news this morning saying that the allegations about him are not true. I am not surprised. There are lots of sadistic men in this world and money protects them. I know that a man like him and I would not have made it. From the moment he tells me to call him daddy it was over. My father used to tell me to listen careful to what a man says when you start dating him. The moment he says and does something that makes your awareness uncomfortable, end it. You might brush it off, thinking that he is not serious, giving him the benefit of the doubt, but be mindful of the way you felt. Staying with him will make you regret that you did.” Intuition, Instinct, Perception, Insight, Awareness and Sensitivity is that inner voice of warning. Pay attention.

Sarah and I did see Episode 1 and 15 minutes into episode 2 of Surviving R Kelly and I was disgusted so we stopped and talked about what we saw. Yesterday she said let’s continue watching. We finished Episode 2 then we watched up to episode 5. Hurt for the woman and disgusted at him and his entourage. The people in his entourage had no empathy for the women who were caught in his sadism. This man pleasured himself by humiliating, inflicting pain and suffering on these women. If you did not look at it, watch it with your daughters. Even your sons. Have a nice day enjoy and be safe.

R Kelly said that he is going to sue Lifetime. Boy please. He is as creepy as Kevin Spacey. My father used to say, “A man is a man and expect anything from him.”  The guys I grew up around were respectable and from then to now I never heard a bad thing about any of them. I was 18 years when I heard about a man molesting a child. I cried. I was naïve, but I loved my life. Have a nice day. Enjoy and be safe.

Tuesday, January 8, 2019

I saw 15 minutes of the R. Kelly story and I couldn’t take no more. It is heartbreaking what these women went through. When I hear him talk especially when I see him all I can think is how creepy he looks and sounds. I say, “boy just shut up and go away!” Strength and courage to all the women who were abused.

Have a wonderful safe Tuesday. Remember to show your child/children all the roads, tracks etc they can take to get to their destination and all the roads, tracks etc. they can take to get home. When you are on your journey point out the road signs, land marks etc. Familarize your child with the area.

Have a nice Monday. Enjoy and be safe. I am seeing the news and the snowy situation in other States. Yes, the Tri-State is going to get some and I hope it is more than 4 inches. Less than that is a skating rink.

Happy Saturday to you and your family. Enjoy your day and be safe. Some people don’t know when to shut up, but the Bible says it all. “The fool takes no delight in understanding, but rather in displaying what he thinks.” (Proverbs 18-2)

Friday, January 4, 2019

A wonderful safe Friday to you and your family. Remember if they are talking about you, good or bad you are important to someone. Don’t waste your time and energy on them. A dose of ignore is good medicine to give to some people.

Happy Thursday to you and your family. Remember to talk to your child/children. Let them know that they can tell you anything. Somethings might shock you but calmly listen to keep the parent child trusting moment intact. Have a wonderful safe day.

The first of January 2019. Have a nice day and be safe. There was a moment in 2018 I felt that I was not going to see 2019 but here I am… I am blessed. Amen and Amen to that.
