The superior man is the providence of the inferior. He is eyes for the blind, strength for the weak, and a shield for the defenseless. He stands erect by bending above the fallen. He rises by lifting others.Robert Green Ingersoll (1833-1899)

It is just as cowardly to judge an absent person as it is wicked to strike a defenseless one. Only the ignorant and narrow-minded gossip, for they speak of persons instead of things.Lawrence G. Lovasik (1913-1986)

“Men Leaving”
From childhood, I have seen this type of situation. Men leaving their wives, for another woman... The women sucks up his youthfulness, the moment he becomes sick, she returns him to his wife. His wife is now under stress and strain as she nurses him back to health.
A friend was telling me about a few women, who are going through this. She said, “Those cases are for, ‘The Diary Of A Mad Black Woman’.”
I said, “The moment he leaves, cry as much as you want, but have your head on. If you want him back and you start praying for him to come back, be prepared that he might not come home in good health. You have to ask yourself, ‘if you are geared up to nurse him back to health?’ No guarantee that he is going to be healthy again. The moment he leaves, start divorce proceedings, if you do not want to be his nurse!”...

“Dreaming”
You fall asleep, you start dreaming, wake up, fall asleep again and the dream continues? When you wake in the morning, you know you were dreaming, but you don’t remember the dream? That night when you fall asleep the dream continues?...

Far away there in the sunshine are my highest aspirations. I may not reach them, but I can look up and see their beauty, believe in them, and try to follow where they lead. — Louisa May Alcott (1832-1888)

But friendship is precious, not only in the shade, but in the sunshine of life, and thanks to a benevolent arrangement the greater part of life is sunshine. ― Thomas Jefferson (1743-1826)

Sunshine is delicious, rain is refreshing, wind braces us up, snow is exhilarating; there is really no such thing as bad weather, only different kinds of good weather. — John Ruskin (1819-1900)

“Oh My God”
When I was growing up the people I knew were good… yet there were some greedy, stupidly funny people in the mix. Oh my God I have to say that the behavior today is at an advance stage… hurtful, dishonest, argumentative, cruel and I can go on because everyday on the news there is something inconceivable!

“Another Spoon Of Milo”
Yesterday when my daughter came home from school she looked a little upset when she said hello.
“I asked. How was your day?”
She said good then went to her bedroom… I went to the kitchen. A few minutes later she walked into the kitchen, took the tin of Milo from the cupboard and a spoon from the drawer. After she ate a spoon full she said, “I am pissed. They want to cancel the school trip. That trip is not to be cancelled!”
“Why are you upset? You said that you did not want to go on the trip.”
“No I don’t want to go. I want to stay home and sleep late. If they cancel the trip then I will have to go to school.”
“So I guess you should have gone on the trip.”
“Mom! Who the hell wants to run around in the cold shooting paint guns at each other!?
“So you are really pissed that your day off is cancelled!”
“Livid!” She puts another spoon of Milo into her mouth.

There are those who look at things the way they are, and ask why... I dream of things that never were, and ask why not? — Robert Kennedy (1925-1968)

Deep into that darkness peering, long I stood there, wondering, fearing, doubting, dreaming dreams no mortal ever dared to dream before. — Edgar Allan Poe (1809-1849)

All men dream, but not equally. Those who dream by night in the dusty recesses of their minds, wake in the day to find that it was vanity: but the dreamers of the day are dangerous men, for they may act on their dreams with open eyes, to make them possible. — T. E. Lawrence (1888-1935)

A man is not old until regrets take the place of dreams. — John Barrymore (1882-1942)

Outside is cold and I am not complaining because the weather is keeping the insect I hate —Cicadas away so it could stay as cold as it wants... I love the weather~

“It Feel Like Winter”
I am sure even the top weatherman/woman cannot understand what is going on with the weather… hmm. He/she might have an idea, but I believe he/she should talk to the old folks. They could tell them what the weather is going to be. Heard one say that the weatherman said it’s spring, but it feels like winter. She is so right. It is cold…

Never forget Judas kissed Christ~ They live among us … Scary~

“Her Heart Rules His”
He said that three friends were complaining about Justin and his girlfriend. They said that she rules him, makes him spend all his money on her and he doesn’t hangout with them anymore.
“How do you know that she rules him?”
“Every time they ask him to hangout he always have something to do with her.”
“How do you know that he spends his money on her?”
“They said that his mother and sisters said that he works for a lot of money, but his bank account is meager, and the woman is always shopping.”
“Did you ever meet this woman? Have a conversation with her?”
“No, but the guys told me that she is not a nice person.”
“How do you know what they are saying is true… because they told you that?” He did not answer so she said, “I think you should speak to your friend.”
“I will.”
Months later when he came home he said, “Justin got married to the woman.”
“He did?”
“Yes and they bought a house. He said he knew his family and friends were talking about him, but ‘you have to be in it to know it’. He said when he met her, he was not serious until they started talking and spending intimate moments together.”
“Sex?”
“No he said just spending quiet moments talking to each other. She is constructive, kind, great conversationalist, makes him laugh and she loves him.”
“Sounds like a good friendship to me.”
“I met her and I have to say eloquent, a great sense of humor, and beautiful…
“I guess her heart rules his.”…

“Different Demeanors”
I am listening to all these young people who went to elementary through high school with the bombing suspect. They all indicated that he was a nice person and they are surprised. My son said that these things are really surprising and he knows how they feel. An elementary school classmate of his is in prison for murder. It’s like you always tell us that the classmate in elementary school will have a different demeanor in junior high and another in high school.”
“True… The same goes for college. All different demeanor,” I said.

“3 This Morning”
Last night was a fan night and the breeze from it felt real good… I fell asleep while I was looking at the David Letterman’s show… deep, deep sleep. Sometime during the night the radiator started to go thick, thick, thick and it woke me up. It was blasting heat, I was wide awake and sweating as though it was a very hot summer day. I turned off the radiator hoping the room would cool down… No dice.
I was wide awake… Just couldn’t sleep. Everybody else in my home asleep. All this is happening at 3 this morning. I got up prayed, had breakfast and 7 hours later I am still wide awake… I’m alive. Amen and AMEN to that!...
