Oh what a beautiful morning~ My family and I survived Sandy~ We did not flood, lights are on and water in the pipes~ Last night the wind was brutal~ This morning there are burst of wind blowing every now and then~ I have experienced strong winds before~ While walking, it felt as though someone had their hand pressed to my back … pushing me along.~ At one point I was jogging to my destination~ The wind from Sandy was worst than that~ Everything around was feeling the impact of it~ It was howling and the trees were dancing~ I love trees and I was a bit worried that those that I see through my window would fall, but they are still standing~ For all those who were impacted in a bad way by Sandy~ I pray for you to get strength and courage to face the days ahead…

A heart without love cannot live ― Tom Jones

Tom Jones - Without Love
“To live for today and to love for tomorrow is the wisdom of a fool because tomorrow is promised to no one,~ You see love is that wonderful thing that the whole wide world needs plenty of.~ And if you think for one minute, you can live without it then you are only fooling yourself~ A heart without love cannot live... Without Love, I have nothing, nothing at all… http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EWvlilwJpl0

The wise are instructed by reason, average minds by experience, the stupid by necessity and the brute by instinct.  Marcus Tullius Cicero (106 BC-43 BC)

“Wisdom is oft-times nearer when we stoop ~ Than when we soar.” ― William Wordsworth

As fire when thrown into water is cooled down and put out, so also a false accusation when brought against a man of the purest and holiest character, boils over and is at once dissipated, and vanishes and threats of heaven and sea, himself standing unmoved.  Marcus Tullius Cicero (106 BC-43 BC)

If you have no confidence in self, you are twice defeated in the race of life. With confidence, you have won even before you have started.  Marcus Tullius Cicero (106 BC-43 BC)

Choose silence of all virtues, for by it you hear other men's imperfections, and conceal your own. ― George Bernard Shaw (1856-1950)

Surround yourself with only people who are going to lift you higher. ― Oprah Winfrey

I remember standing in front of my Standard 4 Class Reciting ~ “Daffodils” “Daffodils” (1804)
William Wordsworth William (1770-1850)
“I wandered lonely as a cloud
That floats on high o'er vales and hills,
When all at once I saw a crowd,
A host, of golden daffodils;
Beside the lake, beneath the trees,
Fluttering and dancing in the breeze.

Continuous as the stars that shine
And twinkle on the milky way,
They stretched in never-ending line
Along the margin of a bay:
Ten thousand saw I at a glance,
Tossing their heads in sprightly dance.

The waves beside them danced; but they
Out-did the sparkling waves in glee:
A poet could not but be gay,
In such a jocund company:
I gazed--and gazed--but little thought
What wealth the show to me had brought:

For oft, when on my couch I lie
In vacant or in pensive mood,
They flash upon that inward eye
Which is the bliss of solitude;
And then my heart with pleasure fills,
And dances with the daffodils.”

“Yes Pray ~ BUT”
You could pray until Thy Kingdom come, but if you do not talk and agree about the situation that caused the contention … Praying is not going to mend it~

You can accept or reject the way you are treated by other people, but until you heal the wounds of your past, you will continue to bleed. You can bandage the bleeding with food, with alcohol, with drugs, with work, with cigarettes, with sex, but eventually, it will all ooze through and stain your life. You must find the strength to open the wounds, stick your hands inside, pull out the core of the pain that is holding you in your past, the memories, and make peace with them. ― Iyanla Vanzant

“When you need to be loved, you take love wherever you can find it. When you are desperate to be loved, feel love, know love, you seek out what you think love should look like. When you find love, or what you think love is, you will lie, kill, and steal to keep it. But learning about real love comes from within. It cannot be given. It cannot be taken away. It grows from your ability to re-create within yourself, the essence of loving experiences you have had in your life.” ― Iyanla Vanzant

To conceal anything from those to whom I am attached, is not in my nature. I can never close my lips where I have opened my heart. ― Charles Dickens, (1812-1870)

My religion is very simple. My religion is kindness. ― Dalai Lama

An ounce of practice is worth more than tons of preaching.Mahatma Gandhi (1869-1948)

I like your Christ, I do not like your Christians. Your Christians are so unlike your Christ.Mahatma Gandhi (1869-1948)

Beware of the man who does not return your blow: he neither forgives you nor allows you to forgive yourself. ― George Bernard Shaw (1856-1950)

People who say it cannot be done should not interrupt those who are doing it. ― George Bernard Shaw (1856-1950)

The most virtuous women have something within them, something that is never chaste. ― Honoré de Balzac (1799-1850)

However gross a man may be, the minute he expresses a strong and genuine affection, some inner secretion alters his features, animates his gestures, and colors his voice. The stupidest man will often, under the stress of passion, achieve heights of eloquence, in thought if not in language, and seem to move in some luminous sphere. ― Honoré de Balzac (1799-1850)

Breathe. Let go. And remind yourself that this very moment is the only one you know you have for sure. ― Oprah Winfrey

“He was Fearless”
One foggy morning my father was accompanying me to the taxi stand~ As we stepped onto the porch you couldn’t see a thing because of the thick fog~ He told me to let’s go back into the house because he needed to get his poui stick~ I knew he was fearless when he had it with him~ He held my hand and as we walked along~ The only sound you could hear were our footsteps~ Suddenly there was a third set of footsteps~ He stopped and I did too and we heard nothing so we continued and so did the third footsteps~ I could not tell if it was in front of us or behind us~ I was becoming anxious so I whispered, “Daddy, you hearing that?”
“Shhh,” He whispered …held my hand firmly and started hitting the sidewalk with the poui stick~ The third footsteps stopped and the only sound were ours steps along with the thud sound of the poui stick…

Never forget Judas kissed Christ~

You can’t find peace until you find all the pieces ~ Troy Dunn

Barry Manilow - I Made It Through The Rain~
We dreamers have our ways~ Of facing rainy days~ And somehow we survive~ We keep the feelings warm~ Protect them from the storm~ Until our time arrives~ Then one day the sun appears~ And we come shining through those lonely years~ I made it through the rain~ I kept my world protected~ I made it through the rain~ I kept my point of view~ I made it through the rain~ And found myself respected~ By the others who~ Got rained on too~ And made it through~ http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QNsYsSqGKQY&feature=related

When suffering comes, we yearn for some sign from God, forgetting we have just had one.Mignon McLaughlin (1913-1983)

Our birth is but a sleep and a forgetting. Not in entire forgetfulness, and not in utter nakedness, but trailing clouds of glory do we come.William Wordsworth William (1770-1850)

I never heard of an old man forgetting where he had buried his money! Old people remember what interests them: the dates fixed for their lawsuits, and the names of their debtors and creditors. Marcus Tullius Cicero (106 BC-43 BC)

“I believe that you must never forget~ If you forget you repeat”
Remember what the Amalekites did to you along the way when you came out of Egypt. When you were weary and worn out, they met you on your journey and cut off all who were lagging behind; they had no fear of God. When the LORD your God gives you rest from all the enemies around you in the land he is giving you to possess as an inheritance, you shall blot out the memory of Amalek from under heaven. Do not forget! Deuteronomy 25:17-19

“Damp And Dense”
A damp dense fog is moving through the area, this autumn morning~ On mornings like these an eerie feeling comes over me~ I am not going out until this fog burns off … I don’t want to come face-to-face with any creature, that might be lurking in it…

“He Must Pick Her Up”
One of the most uncomfortable, mind-boggling moment, is when you stop a taxi on the street, you get in the back seat and then a man/woman gets into the front seat. It is scary and disrespectful. I believe that is also against the law because you are hiring him to take you to your destination~ I got very angry one day when I got into a taxi and after he started to drive off a woman stopped him~ He stopped and I said to him that I thought he was a taxi. He said that he was, but that woman is his wife and he must pick her up. She got in and turned to me as she asked him, “Who is she?”
“First of all, that is none of your business,” I said.
“He said, “She is a passenger.”
“Are you sure?” She said in a disbelieving tone.
“Yes,” He said softly.
“I guess you have done this before so have you ever seen me in his car?”
“No, but…”
“Miss I don’t know your husband, I needed a taxi that’s why I am in his car … further more, stop the damn car, I want to get out!” I said, interrupting her.
“No Miss. Please … My wife is getting off when I cross the light.”
“Mister, stop the car!”… I shouted.

“He Never Stays The Night”
Every moment she spent with him was wonderful~ Just last night they had the deepest moment of intimacy and he said that he loved her~ It registered in her heart, but she felt something was wrong because he never stays the night~ The next day she attended a function and the moment she walked in, she saw him. He was sitting at a table with a woman and three children. She knew the woman so she decided to say hello. The woman smiled as she recognized her~ They talked for a moment then the woman said, “This is my husband and our three children.”
She said hello to the children and smiled warmly at them then she turned to him. A cold angry stare was fixed on him. His eyes were pleadingly saying, “Please … Please don’t say anything.”…
