“Milo Powdered Milk”

My daughter just got home from school and she walked into the kitchen. While she was speaking to me she reached for a spoon then the tin of Milo. I looked at he as she dipped a heaping spoon of Milo and put it into her mouth~ That reminded me of her brother coming home from school and reaching for the powdered milk~ dipping a spoonful and putting it into his mouth~ Oh my gosh, what did I teach my children from my childhood?...

I don’t know how some teachers can refuse a child or children a moment of happiness~ Isn’t it, a good idea to encourage the child/children to be a better person? I remember the last time I had a birthday party for my daughter at school~ The morning I arrived at the school, her teacher told three boys to leave the classroom, and go to another class~ I looked at them and I saw hurt in their eyes so I said, “Miss… I have a party bag for each of them~ Can I give it to them?”

“No, they are trouble makers so they cannot attend the party and they are not to have anything.”

I did not say anything, but I was wondering, how can you feel comfortable to refuse a child a moment of happiness?…
