My day started good. My knees are not hurting so I must remember not to walk as though I am skipping, hopping, bouncing, prancing, because I am, fit as a fiddle. How you doing? I hope all is well. Have a wonderful day and be safe.

For weeks, I have been cooking rice, peas, beans, vegetables, fish, and meats… My family started to complain…. “Not even a macaroni pie or potato salad.”

Today hot like hell but macaroni pie in the oven and I am making potato salad.

The AC is on but I am sweating and life is good.

I don’t like to wash my dirty linen in public because John Public could be very critical and malicious, but sometimes you need to let John Public know. John Public does know the truth!

The lady in the picture with me, is the late Maulda Mondezie. She lived in Techier Village, Point Fortin, Trinidad, but she left Trinidad, migrated to Canada in 1965. Lived in Côte-des-Neiges, Montrael, Quabec, Canada. She is my Godmother and I am trying to find out her maiden name. The picture of us was taken at her home in Canada 1979. She and I look alike and I questioned it but I got a lot of non-answers.

Growing up in my home I used to be treated like the neighbor’s child’. Today that treatment is more so than ever.

If you know Mrs. Mondezie’s maiden name or anything about her, please let me know.
