Trinbagonians talk. (147) Pelting Boulders is Nasty.

 When humans talk, spit does come out of dey mouth. Sometimes, de spit does come out as a mist dat yuh doh see. It does spray out yuh mout’, but as Trinbagonians does say, ‘Yuh peltin’ boulders’. We does laugh when dat happen, buh since Covid-19, dat is worryin’. Ah doh want nobody spit to sprinkle on me, so ah go wear meh mask.

When people talk saliva, comes out of their mouth. Sometimes, the saliva is just a mist that you don’t see, or it shoots out of the mouth. Trinidadians and Tobagonians does say that you are pelting boulders. We laugh when it happens, but since covid-19, that is concerning. I don’t want anybody's spittle to spritz on me, so I am going to wear my mask.

Trinbagonians talk. (146) As the old Trinbago folks used to say, ‘Wah in de bottom of de river does always come back up.’ ‘Anything that is at the bottom of the river, always rise to the surface’. 'Truth will prevail’.

Beloved, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits to see whether they are from God, for many false prophets have gone out into the world. 1 John 4:1.

Pause for a day or two from all the Covid-19 videos and the little chit-chat about it and breathe. Spend some quite time and meditate. Talk to God about what is causing you to put your trust in man.

It is better to take refuge in the Lord than to trust in man. It is better to take refuge in the Lord than to trust in princes. Psalm 118:8-9.

Proverbs 3:5-6. Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make straight your paths.

Oh gosh it eh bet it hav’ plenty videos about de Coronavirus, nah. De amount ah people hav’ stories about it, is amazin’. Half of dem eh no doctor or scientist. An de other half gettin’ on as though God give dem de permission to tell dey tale. As meh faddah use to say, “Let de jackass bray. God go put ah spoke in dey wheel!”

There are lots of videos about Covid-19. It is amazing to see the amount of people who gave long commentaries about it. Half of them are not in the medical field or a scientist. The other half concocting stories and acting as though God give them the authority to speak. As my father use to say, “Let the damn fools talk. God will stop them.”

May the LORD cause you to flourish, both you and your children. May you be blessed by the LORD who made heaven and earth! Amen.” Ps. 115:14-15.
